The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) invites eligible Irish Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) to submit joint research proposals under the ICT-AGRI-FOOD ERA-NET Joint Call on “More transparent agri-food systems for consumers and other stakeholders along the food value chain based on ICT technologies ”
Applicants seeking grant-aid from DAFM can apply for funding under any of the scientific topic areas which include:
The Joint Call aims to bring together actors from across the entire food system (from conventional and organic supply chains) in a multi-actor approach to develop digital technology solutions that will enable the transition to more sustainable, transparent and resilient agri-food systems.
Applicants seeking grant-aid from DAFM can apply for funding under any of the scientific topic areas which include:
• Agri-food systems enabled by interconnected digital technologies that are more transparent to consumers, farmers and other stakeholders along the agri-food value chain
• Identify, address and remove barriers for adoption of ICT technologies in the agri- food systems
• Development and impact estimation (if applicable: evaluation) of data-driven reward and incentive systems to support sustainable and resilient farm management practices
The Joint Call follows a single step submission and evaluation procedure and the Deadline for the submission of proposals is the 10 August 2022 13:00 CET
