Efforts of the Joint Committee for Rain Emergencies in Various Municipalities

According to the Ministry of Municipality, responded to citizens' requests to withdraw rainwater pools which recently fell in the State. Starting from Thursday morning, corresponding to 5 January 2023 until Saturday evening corresponding to 7 January 2023, the Rain Emergencies Teams carried out non-stop work for 60 hours.
The number of employees in the participating teams reached 1470 employees and workers, as well as 988 equipment, machinery, and pumps. 2931 requests to withdraw rainwater pools were received from the unified call center at the Ministry of Municipality and Ashghal, and they were transferred to the concerned authorities for implementation. 2099 reports were immediately dealt with in high efficiency, and the requests for the remaining reports are being handled as soon as possible.
