Grant of up to €21,000 approved for Ionad Pobail na Minna in Co. Galway
Jack Chambers T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Gaeltacht and Sport, announced today that he has approved a grant of up to €21,000 or 80% of the total cost which will enable Coiste Ionad Pobail na Minna to appoint a consultant for the refurbishment of the Community Centre

The grant has been approved under the Department's Community and Language Supports Programme.
Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Gaeltacht and Sport, TD Jack Chambers, said:
"The renovation work on Ionad Pobail na Minna will further enhance the work being undertaken for the benefit of the language planning process - which is ultimately for the benefit of the Gaeltacht and Irish language communities. This allocation is being provided under the Department’s Community and Language Supports Programme.”
This grant is in line with the commitment made in the National Development Plan and the Community and Language Supports Programme under actions 2.11, 2.21 and 2.22 of the Action Plan 2018-2022.
