His Excellency the Minister inaugurate the Workshop on Institutional Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability System

In the attendance of the President of Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubark Al Khalifa and Assistant-undersecretaries, General Directors of Municipalities and Directors of Departments of the Ministry of Municipality.

According to the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, in his speech, H.E the Minister of Municipality stressed that the organization of this significant workshop is based on the continuous pursuit of the Ministry to develop its services provided to the public in implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani on the importance of documentation and automation of all work procedures in all the Government Authorities in order to raise efficiency and promote the institutional effectiveness.

HE added that the State of Qatar represented by the Ministry of Municipality was one of the leading countries in the region and the world in accomplishing several achievements the most significant of which was the geographic information system. HE said "by launching a package of programs and projects in the field of digital transformation, we aimed at achieving a qualitative leap in the service provided according to the strategic plan of the Ministry".

The President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, HE Mr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubark Al Khalifa praised the initiatives and programs implemented by the Ministry of Municipality which were displayed during the workshop on the Institutional Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability System. HE stressed on providing complete support to the Ministry of Municipality and all the Government Authorities for the success of their projects and services. He pointed out the need to activate and support the role of the private sector within the strategies that are being implemented to play a greater role in the performance of services.
