According to the Ministry of Culture, Abdullah said that he did not know that he had the talent of writing, although he was an avid reader since childhood, until the Arabic professor at the university discovered it through his courses, which were in the form of novels and suggested that he enter the field of writing, at first he was hesitant, but after a long discussion with Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Selim about the advantages of the successful novel and the writer’s feeling and way of thinking during writing, he felt curious about the world of writing and the writer’s feelings during the stage of Character building and weaving events, He had already begun writing and handed over his first attempt, which was only twenty pages, to his teacher, and from that time the spark of passion was ignited.
He talked about the importance of the support and encouragement that the student receives from his teacher because the teacher can be a mentor and mentor to the student and gives him confidence in his abilities just as he can frustrate the student’s abilities and kill passion through his words.
He stressed that he chose to take writing more seriously after obtaining his university degree from Qatar University with honors and a master’s degree in order not to distract his effort and thinking, and indeed it was his first official literary experience through the novels of Treasure of Sezeran, which is part of the historical adventure directed to young people. He said he chose this type of writing because of his great attachment to Arab history and his admiration for stories of Arab adventures.
