The Ministry of Municipality participated in this World Autism Awareness Day celebrations held on April 2nd each year as per the United Nations Decision of 2007 with the purpose of raising awareness around this disease

The Ministry has illuminated a set of buildings affiliated to the Ministry in blue light, as part of the awareness campaign conducted by the concerned entities in the Country in solidarity with the international campaign. These campaigns were themed "Shine a Blue Light", and called upon illuminating all buildings and landmarks around the world to raise awareness regarding autism.
