Qatar Participates in Ministerial Session on Humanitarian Situation in Sudan

According to the Ministry of Public Health, the State of Qatar participated today in the ministerial session on the humanitarian situation in the Republic of Sudan, organized by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (EMRO) through remote communication technologies.
HE Dr Hanan Mohammed Al-Kuwari stressed Qatar's keenness to support international efforts, including those of the WHO, and everything that would alleviate the suffering of civilians, and provide a rapid response to the growing humanitarian needs in Sudan, including in the health field.
During the ministerial session, options for mobilizing support from across the region for the Sudanese people were discussed, and the latest developments and the WHO response to the crisis were reviewed to mitigate the impact of this crisis on civilians.
