Qatar Takes Part in Transportation Conference in Iraq
The Ministry of Transport has taken part in the conference of transportation ministers from neighboring countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which convened in Baghdad

According to the Ministry of Transport, the conference was inaugurated by Iraqi Prime Minister H.E. Mohammed Shia al-Sudani in the presence of several transportation ministers and undersecretaries of the region.
Acting Assistant Undersecretary, Land Transport Affairs, Eng. Hamad Essa Abdulla, and some of MOT officials represented the Ministry at the event.
The conference is aligned with the Iraqi Government's vision of promoting economic integration and cooperation among neighboring countries to serve as a foundation for peace and stability in the region and a platform for partnership and sustainable development.
The event discussed the Road of Development project which the Iraqi Government plans to carry out.
On the sidelines of the conference, the MOT delegation met with the Deputy of Transport of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Shahriar Efendizadeh and discussed cooperation ties in the fields of transportation.
