Qatari Winners in the "Seventh Initiative Competition" in Muscat
The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) honored the representatives of the State of Qatar who won the seventh initiative competition for the category of schools, teachers, and students during its seventh session for the year 2021-2022, as part of the closing activities of the second Gulf Teacher Forum, which was held in Sultanate of Oman and aimed to encourage and honor outstanding teachers as well as present new educational ideas

In the schools' category, Ms. Alia Saleh Al-Hudaifi, Principal of Mozah Bint Mohamad Primary School for Girls won for the project "Smart Negative Pressure Helmet". The winning teacher, Yomn Mohamed Maher was honored for the category of teachers, the owner of the "Passport" project for Moza Bint Mohamad Primary School for Girls, who represented Qatar in the "Seventh Initiative" competition for the teachers' category.
In the student category of the previous initiative competition for friendly schools to the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, the two students, Dalia Bashar and Alia Al-Khalidi from Moza Bint Mohamad Primary School for Girls won for the "Breath of Life" project. Besides, the student Jannah Hani Awad, from Al-Daayen Primary Preparatory School for girls, won for her animation awareness film about adhering to the precautionary measures.
In the “Values of tolerance and acceptance of the other" competition, three female teachers were honored: Ms. Haya Mohamed Issa Rashid Al Kubaisi from Al Bayan Secondary School for Girls, Ms. Al Bandari Ali Hamad Zayed Al Fahidi from Abdullah Bin Zaid Model School, and Ms. Amal Ibrahim Abdul Rahman Buhendi from Souda Bint Zamaa Preparatory School.
It is worth noting that the forum, which was attended by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Republic of Yemen, was organized by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States, which works to improve cooperation among Arab Gulf states, promote citizenship, family, and society values, and develop educational policies.
