They discussed the areas of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the World Health Organization in a number of health fields, especially the Health Emergencies Program, and the health partnership for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: “Creating Legacy for Sport and Health”, which aims to ensure organizing a healthy and safe World Cup in the State of Qatar, and represents an exceptional model for hosting major sporting events that are healthy and safe in the future.
Health control forms during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and the policy of protection against communicable diseases, especially (COVID-19) and monkeypox, were also reviewed.
HE Dr. Hind Bint Abdul Rahman Al Muftah the Permanent Representative of State of Qatar to the European headquarters of the United Nations attended the meeting.
