Starting last week, The Academy began implementing this campaign by conducting several activities to prepare its students for the holy month. The first activity "My Goals in Ramadan", contributed to guide the students and assist them to define their goals for this month. The Academy also created an electronic Ramadan mural through which the students congratulated their colleagues, teachers, families and others on the approach of the holy month. The last activity is “Read, ascend and recite".
During the first week of Ramadan, the Academy implemented a variety of activities from last Sunday until next Thursday. These activities are represented in competitive Ramadan competitions under the title "Think and Win," as well as an activity called "Change Challenge," which aims to improve students' habits and behaviors by requiring daily supplication and remembrance, reciting from the Noble Quran, performing the five prayers on time, determining the number of hours spent on a cell phone.
The list of activities also includes purposeful electronic games in which students learn by practice the rules, etiquette, morals and good behaviors. It also includes the implementation of electronic murals and watching educational and awareness videos.
The Academy announced the "The Most Beautiful Prayer Corner in My House" competition, and set Thursday, April 21, as the last date for accepting participation. This competition confirms that the establishment of prayer is one of the basic matters in the Islamic religion. And that many people have created and allocated a special corner in their homes to perform prayers, which spreads comfort and tranquility and creates a spiritual atmosphere in them. The participation will be evaluated by arranging and decorating the prayer corner at home, and the presence of an accompanying small library containing the Quran, booklets and supplications, as well as Quranic panels.
For its part, Pioneers International Kindergarten has established various activities throughout the holy month to educate students and instill Islamic values in them, represented in two lessons weekly for memorizing Holy Quran at the end of school hours, performing group prayers, and lessons to instill Islamic values through stories. The kindergarten also organizes a “Ramadan Tasks" competition which is defining a daily task, such as performing prayer in a group, and the student must do it at home, then send a picture or video through the guardian.
In a circular regarding students' working hours during Ramadan, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's Private Education Affairs Sector directed private schools and kindergartens to activate various school activities, programs, and competitions that fit the atmosphere of the holy month and its spiritual and educational values.
